Harriet and Dee's

I spent a very relaxing day in Chester with my family last weekend; we took our little boy out in a rowing boat for the first time.   I think he enjoyed himself, we were mostly entertained by his dad and his uncle making fun of each other's rowing skills (or lack of!). It appears you never outgrow sibling rivalry!

Anyway, I did find a lovely little shop called Harriet and Dee.  They are a greeting card specialist and stocked some wonderful cards (I especially liked Cinnamon Aitch's range) and they also stocked gift/ home wares.  I hovered around the Orla Keily home range for a while, adding items to my mental wish list and finally bought some gift wrap which features the work of Madeleine Floyd.  I just love her birds drawings and her drawing style!

New items in my Folksy shop

I've recently been stocking my online shop, as it's been neglected for a few months, while I was working on other freelance projects.  I have a Folksy shop and an Etsy shop; here are the links if you'd like to take a look!

Dartmouth shops

I have just returned from sunny Brixham, in South Devon, where I spent two weeks camping, walking, relaxing and recharging!  I've a few lovely things to post from this holiday and to start with here are the links to two gorgeous shops, full of designer-maker products, interior products and accessories.

The first is Lazy Sundays, click here to visit their online shop.  Beautiful objects to hang in your home and splendid stationary were the highlights for me...the store itself was light, with clean white walls to show off all of the products

Home on the other hand is quite vibrant in contrast, again, packed with wonderful interior gifts.  Lovely printed greetings cards and stationary (and some designer makers from Northumberland) were also stocked in this shop as well as Emma Bridgewater and Cath Kidston to name a few.  The window display was so inviting!
